Vävstuga Days
Loom times: We will offer 2 sessions daily. Session I is from 9 am until 1 pm. Session II is from 1–5 pm.
Cost: $30 per session or $55 for the entire day. Pre-payment is required and non-refundable.
Materials: We will charge for materials by weight
Room & board: lodging available $45/night; meals not provided
Days offered: Tuesday–Saturday, your choice of any day(s)
Dates offered: (2010) December 7–11
Join us twice each year for our week-long open house. We will be open each day from 9 am – 5 pm. All of our looms will be decked out with festive warps all ready to weave. Little or no experience is necessary and ample instruction will be given. Each day we'll host a teatime at 3 pm with Swedish cakes and cookies.
Each session (9 am – 1 pm or 1–5 pm) includes the use of one loom with a 2 meter length limit. Experienced weavers who would enjoy more flexibility of scheduling and weaving length are encouraged to register for our Alumni Week.
We will begin to take sign-ups for the holiday Vävstuga Days event on Wednesday, November 24, 2010.
A non-refundable pre-payment is required.
Contact us to sign up for a weaving slot, or just take a chance and show up. Our upstairs accommodations are available for the week if you're staying to weave; please inquire.
