Bound Rosepath (new for 2009!)
This fetching weft-faced technique allows the creation of small pictorial or geometric motifs using many colors, and only requires four shafts. Sturdy linen warps will already be beamed when students arrive, so each student will only need to thread and tie up his or her loom before weaving can begin. Designing to understand the technique will be an important part of this class. You'll be inspired by our large assortment of colored wool yarns, and your finished item might be used as a wall hanging, small runner, bag, or anything else your imagination can come up with. Students are welcome to stay an optional third day without instruction, to complete the weaving of their piece.
